I chose this picture for my first post because it represents beginnings for me.  I am recently divorced and starting my life all over again.  The woman I'm pictured with above is my room mate and best friend, Brittany.  She's gone through this entire process with me, in the midst of starting her life over again, as well.  The night this picture was taken, she and her girlfriend Meredith made their first real connection.  They have been inseparable ever since, and also a huge part of my life.
